My guy claims this is the only Carmon red metallic 996 GT3 in all of North America, how can I go about finding out if there’s any truth to that...if that’s even possible

I’m relieved to see that there aren’t green accents in the interior and that’s coming from the windshield tint.

This is an interesting post on rennlist in which the poster states that the Carmen Red was a special order. https://rennlist.com/forums/996-gt2-gt3-forum/296388-996-gt3-exterior-color-data.html
Also if not is a commenter saying that Porsche did not release such data.
Edit: found another post wherein someone was told that there were two. https://rennlist.com/forums/996-gt2-gt3-forum/266330-new-gt3.html

According to Porsche , 2004 was the only year for the Camron Red, so I would say that makes the claim more likely considering production was probably low in the final year.

I’d start there - Porsche is pretty good about supplying things like build sheets and production data if you ask. When I chatted with an Audi rep, they were able to tell me that my old S3 was 1/187 in its color combo.

Rennlist forum post seems to suggest he’s right, there was only one in Carmon Red and it was a special order:

That color on that car is amazing. Buy it. Buy it now. Buy it again. Buy it again, now.

Well there are a few different markets that screw up prices, there the the guys that race them, drive them , and then the garage queens with <5k miles.

There only needs to be one red beige(burgundy is the third worst color, behind beige and silver ) 996 GT3.

“I’ve got the least desirable rarest color for a sports car in the entire hemisphere... right next to it are the green, gold, chicken yellow, and baby-turd brown versions too... we only sell the best colors!”
I wouldn’t brag about that color. The only people who want a color like that live in wine producing regions.
